Got to hang out with some of my work whānau in Whakatane today. Then I went for a walk on the beach with Rachel while Matua Rick fished! Work life balance.
No more black and white. A shame because I liked looking at shots and working out if they would work in monochrome.
Back to the brooding teenager…
Day 7 – a wee cheat as my reflection is in the window….
Day 6 – proof!
Day 5 – adventure over, legs not too sore. Time for brunch and a stroll at the lake.
Day 4 – waiting for the start of the Tikitapu 23km adventure race
Should be day 4 black and white but I forgot to do one as I was too busy and I’m late posting this blog. I wanted to post this in black and white but I realised it has people in it! I watched these kids scooting around Aotea Square and talking to each other through the horns. Not sure why they weren’t at school…
Day 3…failed attempt first time as my original photo had people in it!
More learning. My next three days will be at Nethui. But since I’m doing the black and white challenge those will be my photos. Day 2 – nearly a conference incident!
Learning all the way today. I spent today in the office in Auckland learning about Te Tiriti o Waitangi and NZ history. Inspiring. Unfortunately, no photographic evidence so I’ll go with Day 1 of the black and white challenge. Take a photo from your daily life with no colour, no people and give no explanation. Easy peasy except I’m in the city and I’m a people watcher…
