Back to work! I love long weekends, that extra day makes all the difference especially when you get away somewhere and escape!

I had a great session working with a group of teachers today, though. Lots of good conversations and hopefully they gained plenty from it to move forwards.

Dropped my hire car off in town and walked back home along the river to get some fresh air and stretch my legs.  Interesting to compare the rail bridge and the road bridge – different eras, different materials.

Here we go again!

Day 1 Photo a Day 2017

Hamilton Gardens has always been a special place for us. We discovered it when we first arrived in January 2008 and  were blown away by the special gardens and how well designed they are. Since then so much more has been added but we still love the gardens in the centre.  It was a bit busy today but great to see so many people enjoying the sun, the plants and being together with family and friends on New Year’s Day.  This is the Chinese Scholar’s Garden.

A long day at the computer planning for ULearn and doing my PTC stuff. So it was good to escape for a walk to the arboretum. The sky looked threatening but we managed 8km before a few drops started to fall. By then we were back at the car!  Beautiful light.
